It's almost Christmas and Sunday evening at church, several members shared their favorite holiday memories. We had a great dinner, fellowship and wonderful, as always, great music. All Christmas stories were touching and I started thinking about my own holiday memorable. It's hard for me not to get tears in my eyes when I look back over the years, especially when you realize how much has changed.

My greatest joy is watching my children run to see Santa all their donations. Two years ago, my son wanted a go-cart.I was so hesitant to buy one, fearing a wreck or something horrible. My husband finally convinced me, given my son the most mature and responsible around. (Wink, wink) We obviously could not fit this thing in the house, if we implement all gifts the world around the tree and the back door / porch. We have the go-cart on the back porch, but closed the curtains do not see it. Instead, he finds a bit of toys, books and headphones. Poor kid, he's such a good sport!Sarah and Olivia had these enormous toys and Deacon surfs the entire stay in its new fire truck and Matthew just smiled and looked around her small gifts, trying to act excited.

We let this continue for a few minutes, then my husband said, "Hey Matthew, what is on the porch?" Back to the Christmas Eve anything other than a Christ focused, family night without Voyage! Since then, we enjoyed a meal at home with all family and wants to attend a service early evening church.We read the biblical story of the birth of Jesus "and click on the bed, ready for a crazy day of gifts and family at Christmas.
