Blame Bengals Ticket Sales on the Economy, Not Fan Loyalty

For the fourth time this season, the Cincinnati Bengals has received an extension to sell tickets to an upcoming game this week against the Detroit Lions. As of Thursday morning, there were still 5000 tickets remaining for fans to see their beloved Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium.

We are all familiar with the history, the Bengals are on the verge of a blackout, they receive an extension, and miraculously found a free way to sell tickets right before the game starts Sunday to allow fans not in attendance to watch the game from home.

In recent months, many accusations in recent articles and message boards on various sites have questioned the loyalty of fans of the Bengals not be able to sell their games at Paul Brown Stadium.Fans of opposing teams have questioned the loyalty Cincinnati fans' for the Bengals and asked them why they would pass up a chance to see their team win.

While football fans, it's time to put an end to all the negativity and realize that a major reason to fight with Bengals recent sale of home games is the current state of the economy.

This is not to force Mike Brown to resign. This is not because the fans did not really make their beloved Bengals.

Because the city of Cincinnati has to deal with difficult economic times, like cities across the United States.

The unemployment rate in the State of Ohio, jumped back to 10 percent in October. Counties throughout the Cincinnati area continue to struggle with their inhabitants are struggling to find a job.
